There are some tricks up our sleeves (laughs). We're definitely working leather converse on some stuff, and always trying to see how we can push the limit. I think that with any project Chinatown Market is doing, we want to make sure that we're differentiating them. We don't want to pick the same theme and try to execute it time and time again. Just trying to stay unique. Our whole ethos is about inclusive, not exclusive. I want as many people to be able to engage and experience this thing as possible. We want kids to know that if they want something, they can make it themselves. They can go buy a pair of Chucks and make what they want with their own hands. That's what we want to inspire. It helps them [the kids] believe that the product is an open platform for them to create.

Translucent uppers have always had a lasting impact on those converse shoreline who still remember their heyday oh-so-many years back, but in recent times, the inventive tooling has made a widely surprising resurgence thanks to pairs like the elusive Comme des Garcons Dunk and of course the coveted Off-White x Converse Chuck 70. Since 2015, Converse has released an annual Pride collection to celebrate the movement's origins, and this year's slate of shoes is inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, a turning point in the fight for LGBTQ rights. Consisting of high and low-top versions of both the classic Chuck Taylor and the upgraded Chuck 70 , the collection is unabashedly loud and proud, centered around a lightning bolt design and plenty of glittering details.

The timeless construction of Converse's popular Chuck 70 and cheap converse the rugged materials of Carhartt WIP  s products are coming together, as the two have teamed up to produce a new Gore-Tex Chuck 70 in both black and white. The partners have only teased their collaborative effort, but from the images that are available so far, the new kicks appear to feature a single-color weather-resistant upper with a stripe of high-vis reflective material on the heel and a bold branded Gore-Tex hit on the lateral side. The black pair then calls upon bold yellow piping and laces for accents, while the white pair opts for crisp orange hits.

Each colorway is then completed with a repeating logo print on the aforementioned heel strip and a simple white/grey midsole. If you need an all-weather pair in your rotation, you can expect these new Carhartt Converses to release February 21st, exclusively on the Carhartt WIP webstore and at their retail locations.From Brain Dead and CLOT collaborations to the recent "Archive Pack," Converse has been partaking in a wide-reaching experiment with prints, patterns, and textures on the classic Chuck 70 as of late. Now they're back at it again, as a quartet of furry releases dubbed the "Pony Hair" pack is set to arrive on Valentine's Day.

Consisting of a classically-styled womens converse camouflage, two animal-printed makeups  cheetah and leopard  and a simple black/white for those who prefer something a little less flashy, each shoe's upper is dressed in a shaggy and durable pony hair, adding an extra layer of texture to the Chuck 70's classic design. An egret-colored midsole with a black stripe and a brown outsole then arrive on the lower half to round off the look.
